About Posca Pop

Posca Pop is a local drink company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Their brand reflects the history of posca, and how the Roman army’s used it to stay hydrated. This is incorporated throughout their advertising and sells material. They sell cane vinegar drinks in a variety of flavors. They mostly sell their products to local grocery stores, and a few bars.

Objective

Entering a market where there are so many products, we needed to find a creative way to connect Posca Pop with the consumer and get them to stand out. The ultimate goal is to get the buyers attention, create awareness and interest for the product. Marketing to the active, trendy, health conscious people of Salt Lake City. The audience are people who see themselves as being a part of the health craze before it grew in popularity, but as it has grown they no longer stand out like they used to.  This product allows these people to stand out once again from the crowd.

Label

The label was the biggest goal for Posca Pop. The goal was to create a visually striking and different label from its competitors. Using a mix of high contrast blacks and whites with the gold foil, we were able to deliver a distinct brand image with each flavor they offer. The original concept was conservative for the brand, and they gave us more leeway to beef up the label and make it stand out.
